I202 Vitality Classroom

I202 Vitality Classroom

In response to the challenges of a super-aged society, this classroom is designed for professional learning and research related to active aging and elder care. It includes facilities for promoting senior health, such as healthy diet programs, dementia prevention games, active exercises (e.g., Norway’s REDCORD exercise and Japan’s stepping exercise), and health and fitness assessments (e.g., sarcopenia and balance testing). Integrating practical healthy diet operations, elder care, chronic disease prevention, and aging-related physical activity courses, the Vitality Classroom provides students with comprehensive skills and research knowledge in eldercare prevention. This enhances employability and helps improve the quality of life for senior citizens.
